PMS Exams In Pakistan
The PMS is stand for Provisional Management Service. It's a competitive exam being conducted by Provisional government of Pakistan through its Commission namely as:
1. Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC)
2. Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC)
3. Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC)
4. Khyber Pakhukha Public Service Commission ( KPSC)
PMS Test:
Provisional Management Services
PMS Exams having three stages:
1. Written Test
2.pyschology Test
3. Interview
Note:
Candidates who have passed the PMS exams will be appointed as first officer job of 17 grade.
Candidates who passed the exams are called PMS Officer.
Education Required for PMS Exams:
1. Graduation in any discipline with minimum 2nd division from a recognised University.
2.All Male, Female and transgender are eligible for PMS exam.
3. Fresh candidates and already job holders in private or govt sector are eligible.

The PPsc holds the Exams as and when PMS post are Available in the Punjab province.
PMS Exams Ceriteria:
PMS Exams combination of two test:
1.Written test having two part
Compulsory Subjects ( 600 marks)
Optional Subjects (600 Marks)
2. Psychological assessment and Interview (200 marks)
Ceriteria:
1. Non muslims have the option either to attempt the Subject of Islamic study or Ethics.
2. The candidates have to take compulsory as well as optional Subjects from PMS Syllabus defined by PPSC.

Basic Pay (Minimum) 30,370.00
Special Allowance 20% (2009) 2,118.00
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2016 10% 2,544.00
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2017 10% 3,037.0
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2018 10% 3,037.00
Adhoc Allowance 2019 5% 1,518.50
Civil Secretariat Allowance @50% 15,185.0
Convey Allowance 2005 5,000.00
Medical Allowance 15% (16-22) 2,396.00
House Rent 45% (2008) (big city) 4,432.50

Some Important Information about PMS Exams
1. The minimum standard for the question papers is of graduate level.
2. The Candidate have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate i.e. 600 marks to qualify for interview. A candidate who secure 50% marks over all than he will be eligible for next stage of interview. So it is compulsory to obtain 50% marks in test to qualify for interview.
3. Besides Open Merit quota, Special zone, Special person and Minorities quotas are considered.
